Blenheim PT Micah achieves international sporting success!

Hi everyone and welcome to March. Hasn’t the start of the year gone quickly?
March is the month for the Forrest Grape Ride so good luck to all those involved with it. Remember, if you need more training and can’t get outside on your bikes then come and book a Ride class and use this for training - or if the class times don’t suit then try a Virtual Ride Class. We are here to help so if there’s anything you are having problems with please come and see one of our awesome Personal Trainers.
We have noticed how busy the club has been recently and it’s great to see so many new faces, it shows how much people are caring about themselves. Keep it up as we should all be spending time doing things we enjoy and also to have some me time!
With that in mind we would like to welcome back Micah who is one of our Personal Trainers and below is a paragraph about what she has been up to since Christmas while the rest of us were eating, drinking and resting.
I have just returned from 7 weeks of competing on the NZ International Beach Volleyball tour to get selected to represent NZ at the Oceania Olympic Qualifier. Our events were World Class with Germany, Holland, Spain, Britain, Australia, Vanuatu, Samoa and Fiji competing, some of which are in the top 10 in the World.
We achieved NZ selection for the Olympic qualifier and won Bronze which secured NZ, Australia and Vanuatu places in the final stage of Olympic qualification in China ( Beijing )later this year.
Thanks to everyone for their continuing support, we are one small step closer.
Thank you Micah you are one determined lady, well done.
Have a fabulous March everyone, cheers Michelle
