Fun run at cityfitness Lyall Bay
Welcome to March! There is plenty happening at the bay with a new group fitness timetable, a new personal trainer, a fantastic cityfitness / The Gasworks 5 km fun run scheduled for Saturday March 10th and, of course a great ‘can do’ attitude from our members fulfilling their new years resolutions to get fit, feel great and have fun doing it.
The ‘cityfitness / The Gasworks’ Fun Run will take place on Saturday March 10th. Kick off is at The Gasworks Restaurant (1 Tauhinu Rd, Miramar) with registrations taken from 8.30am, a 9am start for walkers and a 9.15am start for joggers. Included in the registration packs will be a 7 day pass offer for participants to be able to try the cityfitness experience. The course for this event takes in Miramar Avenue, Cobham Drive and a section of Evans Bay Parade. Footpaths will be used rather than any road closures.
Parents will be responsible for any children participating in this event. There will be a $5.00 registration fee with funds raised going to the New Zealand Heart Foundation. Advance registrations may be made at cityfitness Lyall Bay, cash preferred please. We would love to see a good turnout on the day and our plan long term would be to make this an annual event. Invite your friends and family to this wonderful event and support a very worthwhile cause.
